This specification provides a baseline of development for the Pentium® II processor desktop platform clock driver
requirements. It is not the only solution that can be arrived at, but is generic enough to provide solutions for most desktop
platforms. This specification is also intended to aid computer OEM's in defining and using the clock synthesis components for all
desktop system level clocking requirements.
